Why is soaking good for me? Detoxification: The combination of hot water with epsom, bentonite clay and essential oils allows your body to detox. Your pores will open and toxins will be released, very similar to the process your body goes through in a sauna. Toxins build up in our bodies every day, and we can get rid of them through eating certain foods, drinking lots of water, and also soaking! It is a complementary treatment for a healthy and well body.
Post-Sports: Our product is great for relieving muscle aches, and when used straight after working out or playing sport, can reduce muscle soreness and swelling the next day.
Relaxation: The combination of essential oils in our wellness soaks create aromas which relax the mind. Hot water relaxes your muscles also. As women, we tend to care constantly for others, but can neglect ourselves. Time out to relax and recharge is important for your sanity, not to mention our best ideas often come to use when we actually switch off!
Mineral deficiency: Many people are magnesium deficient, and magnesium is important for bone and muscle health, restful sleep, and many other important body functions. Our soaks contain magnesium sulphate which is readily absorbed by our bodies if you soak for at least 20 minutes. They also contain celtic sea salt which has many absorbable trace minerals essential for good health.
How often should I soak? You can soak every day if you like, but we recommend at least once a week, for consistent me-time. Why not schedule in a soak every Sunday night?!
Are your products vegan? Yes! None of the ingredients that go into our wellness soaks have been tested on animals. We are accredited by Choose Cruelty Free Limited as a cruelty free company.
How many baths will I get from one pack of Soak Society Wellness Soaks? Approximately 4-6. Start with a few tablespoons in your first bath, and you can work your way up to using more when you’re ready. Our travel sized soaks are designed for 1 or 2 baths.

What if I am sensitive to essential oils? It's best not to find out the hard way, so it's important to do a patch test first. Rub a small amount of soak on your wrist and wait half an hour. If irritation occurs, please don't use our soaks.
Should I soak if I am pregnant? Our products are not harmful to your pregnancy, however we recommend not to soak in your first trimester because medical advice states not to become overheated in a hot bath. What if I don’t have a bathtub? You can soak your feet! Having a foot-bath is a great way to release toxins and soothe tired feet, especially after wearing heels or running. Our soaks are the perfect accompaniment to a home pedicure too. Simply fill a non-metal bucket or foot spa with warm water and soak away.
Where should I store my soaks? Store your soaks in a dry cupboard or shelf away from the bath, so that they remain unaffected by any moisture. And remember to seal the package when you are not using them.
