How to create your own day spa at home
You don't need an expensive day spa to experience the wonderful feeling of being pampered. It's so important to treat yourself and what better way than to go to a day spa, although when you don't feel like forking out the money, creating your own at home is super simple. There are a ton of at-home treatments and rituals you can follow that will make you feel relaxed, calm and nourished. Check out these tips and tricks to get you started...
First up, it's time to run a bath. Soaking is going to make you feel relaxed in no time! Add your favourite soak to the bath (we recommend the Rose Wellness Soak if you want to feel extra pampered or the Sleep Wellness Soak if your in the mood for ultimate relaxation), lay down and soak up wonderful goodness our products are full of.
Next up it's time to do a face mask and the good news is, soaking and face masks go hand-in-hand as they both take around 20 minutes! The ECO. Clay Mask is the perfect at home treatment to deeply cleanse, purify, restore and hydrate the skin as it contains bentonite clay (the same as in our Originale soak). Looking for softer and brighter skin? Then this mask is for you! Pop it on for at least 10 minutes and you'll be feeling wonderful and rejuvenated!
So by now you have soaked to your hearts content and it's time to hop out of the bath. When we are stressed we tend to go into work mode and forget about taking me-time which means we forget about looking after our skin. The ECO. Vitamin A Powerhouse Night Serum is a great way to give your skin that much needed boost due to the increased collagen production, energising cell turnover, skin elasticity and oil regulation to help those annoying breakouts.
It's about time to pour yourself a glass of wine and put your legs up. Grab your significant other or you can do it yourself and use the ECO. Relaxing Massage Oil to complete your at home treatment. This soothing oil contains lavender, ylang ylang and geranium essential oils which will help with stress reduction and sore muscles. Massage it into your skin (straight after a bath is best to lock in moisture) or add it into your favourite body lotion and you will be feeling the epitome of relaxed!
There are heaps of other things you can add to your at home spa day such as putting coconut oil in your hair to make it super soft, exfoliating, giving yourself a mani and pedi, inviting your friends over to join you, the list goes on! The most important thing to consider is that me-time is essential for success. Try these tips at home and we can guarantee you won't be going to the spa nearly as often!
