FAQs

Whether it’s Bath Soaks for sore muscles, pregnancy, colds or dry skin, Bath Soaks work wonders for your body.

DETOXIFICATION

The combination of hot water with epsom, bentonite clay and essential oils allows your body to detox. Your pores will open and toxins will be released, very similar to the process your body goes through in a sauna. Toxins build up in our bodies every day, and we can get rid of them through eating certain foods, drinking lots of water, and also soaking! The detoxifying ingredients are the perfect treatment for a healthy and well body.

POST-SPORTS

Our Wellness Bath Soaks and Salts are great for relieving aches and relaxing muscles. We have a range of natural Bath Soaks for sore muscles. Use them after working out or playing sport and they will help to reduce muscle soreness, swelling and inflammation.

Relaxation

The combination of essential oils and natural minerals in our relaxing Wellness Bath Soaks create aromas which soothe the body and mind. As women, we tend to care constantly for others, but can neglect ourselves. Time out to recharge, relieve stress and relax is important for your sanity, not to mention our best ideas often come to use when we actually switch off.

MINERAL DEFICIENCY

Many people are magnesium deficient, and magnesium is important for bone and muscle health, restful sleep, and many other important body functions. Our soaks contain magnesium sulphate which is readily absorbed by our bodies. They also contain Celtic Sea Salt which alone has a huge variety of health benefits.

You can soak as often as you like! We recommend at least once or twice a week, for consistent me-time. Why not schedule in a soak every Sunday night?

Approximately 4-6 baths with our Standard size or 1-2 with our Travel size. You can use as much or as little as you’d like – add more for ultimate relaxation and restoration.

Our BathDew Flower Power contains roughly 6-8 bubble baths.

This is totally up to you! There’s no right or wrong answer. A good guide is between 50-100g per bath.

Great news! Baths with our Wellness Bath Soaks and BathDew Flower Power are perfectly safe in pregnancy if you follow a few simple rules:

  • Keep your bathwater warm, not hot. Around 37 degrees Celsius (98.6 degrees F) is just perfect and feels great.
  • Avoid baths after your water has broken.

Feel free to have as many baths as you like. You could even have baths several times a day if you’re suffering from pregnancy symptoms like backache. We recommend our Restore Wellness Soak (a soothing and nourishing wonder!), the perfect Bath Soak for pregnancy. Chat to your doctor or midwife if you’d like to know more or are unsure.

Yes! None of the ingredients that go into our wellness soaks have been tested on animals. We are accredited by Choose Cruelty Free Limited as a cruelty free company.

Our focus is on all natural, vegan, cruelty free and organic ingredients. None of our products contain the nasty ingredients you will find in the vast majority of Body, Skin and Hair Care products. We’ve worked hard to achieve this.

We swapped out Parabens, SLS or SLES, synthetic colours, fragrances or preservatives, which contaminate the skin and body, for natural ingredients such as Avocado Oil, Argan Oil, Grapeseed Oil, Kakadu Plum and Davidson Plum (to name a few!) which hydrate, revitalise and relax the body and mind.

Store your Soak Society products in a cool, dry place. Remember to seal the packaging when you are not using them to savour the freshness.

Some soaks may retain moisture and become slightly clumpy over time – this is normal as our ingredients are 100% natural and free from artificial preservatives. This does not affect the quality of the salt.

You can soak your feet or explore our range of other products.

Having a foot-bath is a great way to release toxins and soothe tired feet, especially after wearing heels or running. Our Wellness Soaks are the perfect accompaniment to a home pedicure too. Simply fill a non-metal bucket or foot spa with warm water and soak away.

It’s very unusual but it’s best to do a patch test first. Rub a small amount of soak on your wrist and wait half an hour. If irritation occurs, try an alternative in our range.
